To me, photography is both a craft and a piece of art,
but perhaps most of all, a way of preserving memories. To capture and preserve
moments of the present forever. Perhaps
you have seen old black and white pictures of your grandfather or grandfather's
father where he is proud, or perhaps a little shy, standing in front of the minneapolis photographer in the best Sunday fare. Imagine someone caught his gaze, his look
just that day. And imagine that many years later you can see exactly how he
looked like so long ago. What did he think? How did he feel? The thought is
staggering, but remember that in a hundred years, your grandchildren's children
are safe and look at your pictures and dream back in time.
