To me, photography is both a craft and a piece of art, but perhaps most of all, a way of preserving memories. To capture and preserve moments of the present forever.  Perhaps you have seen old black and white pictures of your grandfather or grandfather's father where he is proud, or perhaps a little shy, standing in front of the minneapolis photographer in the best Sunday fare.
